The state Office of Court Administration is recommending October 1st as the date to resume in-person jury trials. But the office left the decision when to restart jury trials up to each county's local administrative judge. On Wednesday, Local Administrative Judge Ron Rangel said he's aiming at the beginning of 2021 as a more likely date, but says he'll be flexible depending what the pandemic numbers do. Rangel says the positivity rate for coronavirus tests in Bexar County is nearly eight-percent, and he'd prefer it to be below five-percent.
