Army Replacing Commander At Fort Hood

There's going to be a new commander at Fort Hood. The Army announced Major General Scott Efflandt will be removed from his role. The move comes after three soldiers at the military post have been found dead after going missing over the past year. Those soldiers were Vanessa Guillen, Gregory Morales and Elder Fernandes. Efflandt was in place to take over the 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, but that transfer is now denied. He will stay at Fort Hood and serve as deputy commanding general for support.
