Texas Democrats are making one last stab at expanding the state's use of voting by mail in the November election. The party's lawyer will appear before a federal appeals court today to claim that a state law denying mail-in ballots to most Texans under age 65 is unconstitutional age discrimination. State and federal appeals courts have already tossed out the Texas Democratic Party's earlier attempts to expand mail-in voting as a safer alternative to showing up at the polling places during the pandemic.
