FEMA Approves Aid Request From Texas Ahead Of Storms

Federal aid will be available for Texas as Tropical Storms Laura and Marco head towards into the state. Governor Greg Abbott announced today a Federal Emergency Declaration request was approved by FEMA ahead of the storms. Abbott says the cash will be used to help with evacuation and shelter support. Laura could make landfall on Wednesday near the Texas-Louisiana border. Marco could also hit Southeast Texas but in a weakened state.
