Another soldier is missing at Fort Hood. An alert was released for 23-year-old Sergeant Elder Fernandes, who was last seen in Killeen on Wednesday. Unit leaders are in contact with his family and law enforcement during the active search. The base was also home to Vanessa Guillen, whose remains were found last month after she disappeared in April.
