Metro Health officials are reporting 44,265 cases of coronavirus in Bexar County since the pandemic began.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg says the total includes 143 new cases that were reported on Tuesday. Officials also reported 20 new deaths, bringing the county's death toll to 637.
The number of coronavirus hospitalizations in the county continues to decline and is now 569.
