Metro Health is reporting the number of hospitalizations is continuing to decline, with 546 patients hospitalized in Bexar County as of last night, with 247 in ICU and 162 on ventilators.
Officials also reported 191 new cases yesterday and 19 new deaths.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg says data continues to show 2 out of every 3 patients who have died from coronavirus complications in Bexar County had an underlying health condition. "Underlying health conditions are very common and could range from diabetes to high-cholesterol," said Nirenberg.
