Texas Supreme Court Orders Cy-Fair Teachers To Show Up For Work

The Texas Supreme Court is siding with the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, whose teachers say they're not ready to return to campus yet. A Harris County District Judge granted the Cy-Fair American Federation of Teachers a temporary restraining order on Friday, which kept teachers from being required to be inside a school building for training before September 7th. The Supreme Court ruled Sunday the teachers must show up for work. Cy-Fair ISD's first day of school is September 8th, with an option of virtual or classroom teaching.
