USPS: Texas May Not Receive Mail-In Ballots In Time For Election

The U.S. Postal Service says Texas voters may not receive mail-in ballots in time for the November elections. The postal service has faced budget cuts, resulting in slower-than-normal delivery times. More people are requesting absentee ballots due to the pandemic, raising questions about whether ballots will reach the election offices in time to be counted. The postal service advises election officials to use first-class mail to send ballots, and says voters should mail them in by October 28th.
