Bexar County Commissioner Floats Plan For Huge 24/7 Polling Places

A Bexar County Commissioner is floating a proposal aimed at making it safer to vote in the election this fall. The plan from Precinct 2 Commissioner Justin Rodriguez includes early voting sites that are open around the clock, and voting locations in large public spaces such as the AT&T Center. Rodriguez says the plan will help voters maintain social distancing as they cast their ballots. He pointed out that the county has set aside three-million-dollars of the funds it received from the Federal CARES Act specifically for the elections.
