The Rangers used a four-run fourth to take a 5-0 lead and they held off the Angels 7-3 in Arlington. Shin-Soo Choo capped the fourth with a two-run single. Nick Solak had two hits and scored three runs for Texas, which had a home run reversed and called a four-base error on Angels outfielder Jo Adell.
Lance Lynn worked five innings to get the win as the Rangers completed a three-game sweep. Andrew Heaney got chased in the fourth for the Halos to take the loss. Tommy La Stella homered in defeat as LA fell to 5-and-11.
