San Antonio Alliance of Teachers and Support Personnel Voice Concerns

The San Antonio Alliance of Teachers and Support Personnel wants district leaders to keep campuses closed until the pandemic lets up to safer levels. Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Monday that district officials should decide how and when schools will reopen.

The San Antonio Alliance of Teachers and Support Personnel rallied on Monday, asking administrators to commit to online-only teaching for at least the first nine weeks of school. The organization wants to see reductions in new cases, positive test rates, and transmission rates before classes begin in person.
