Senator Ted Cruz is praising the closure of the Houston Chinese consulate. The Texas Republican writes in the Houston Chronicle there's plenty of proof the Chinese were spying on America citing last year's removal of three scientists from MD Anderson Cancer Center. The scientists were removed due to concerns they were trying to steal scientific research. Cruz says it's good riddance the consulate was closed and believes communist China is a threat to national security. The consulate was shut down last week.
