Cowboys Could Open Season With No Fans At New LA Stadium

When the Dallas Cowboys open the season on September 13th against the Rams, there could be no spectators at the new SoFi Stadium. The Rams sent a letter yesterday to stadium seat license holders notifying them there would be restricted capacity or no fans for the 2020 season because of the coronavirus pandemic. The team website reported season tickets this year will not be possible.

Meanwhile, NFL training camps could have less participation this year. Multiple reports say the NFL is proposing a roster size of 80 players to the NFLPA. The rosters would be smaller than the regular 90-man limit as a result of the ongoing coronavirus. The proposal is aimed to help social distancing in team facilities.

The Players' Association also announced on Tuesday night that all exhibition games will be canceled after the typical four-game slate was trimmed to two earlier this year. All teams are set to report to training camp next Tuesday.
