Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen says she's pleased with local turnout for Tuesday's primary runoffs. Callanen says about 31,600 voters had cast ballots by 7 p.m. That's about ten-percent of the county's registered voters, which Callanen says is "outstanding" for a primary runoff. She says she was also pleased that local polling sites didn't have the same problems they experienced in the March primary, when software glitches held up final vote tallies until early the next morning.
