Wolff: School Opening Should Be Delayed Three Weeks

Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff says San Antonio schools shouldn't be in a hurry to reopen. In Monday's pandemic press briefing, Wolff said the San Antonio ISD's scheduled reopening date of August 10th is too soon. He said school districts should delay their opening dates for three weeks. Wolff said he hopes Gov. Abbott and the Texas Education Agency will support postponed back-to-school dates. San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg said he and Wolff will meet with school superintendents this week to discuss their plans.
