Passenger traffic at the San Antonio International Airport, which was flattened by the pandemic, is slowly coming back. Rich Stinson, the director of strategic communications for the airport, says more than ten-million passengers passed through in 2018, with about 15-thousand both inbound and outbound every day. After the pandemic came to town, he says daily traffic fell to no more than 200 passengers. In June, Stinson said, the airport rebounded to more than four-thousand passengers a day. Pandemic precautions are in place.
