Early Voting In Primaries Starts Today

Early voting starts today in primary runoffs in Texas. Attracting a lot of attention is the runoff between state Senator Royce West of Dallas and Air Force veteran MJ Hegar of Round Rock for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. The winner of that contest will go on to face Republican incumbent John Cornyn in the November general election. Also on the July 14th ballot are 15 U.S. House runoffs, 14 Texas House runoffs, and one for the State Board of Education. Early voting continues through July 10th.
