BCSO Deputy Investigated For 'Lynch Mob' Facebook Post

A Bexar County sheriff's deputy is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation into a provocative Facebook post. A citizen reported the post to the sheriff's office on Monday. It reportedly called for the lynching of a man accused of mail theft. On Tuesday, Sheriff Javier Salazar issued a statement that said the department doesn't tolerate employees who make posts that "promote violence and criminal activity." Salazar says he plans to deal with the matter "swiftly and severely."
