Nursing Homes: FEMA Is Providing 'Unusable' PPE

Some nursing homes in Texas are reporting that FEMA is sending them personal protective equipment that's unusable. More than 1,100 Texas nursing homes received a PPE shipment from FEMA. But, officials with the Good Samaritan Society said most of the gear sent to their two Denton nursing homes can't be used. Almost all the gloves were too small for adult hands. The masks had fragile ear loops that fell apart, and the gowns looked like trash bags with head holes cut with scissors. FEMA says all the gear meets industry standards.
