Some Texas Bars Have Alcohol Permits Suspended

Some bars in Texas are temporarily without alcohol permits. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission says the permits were suspended for 30 days as part of Operation Safe Open, which limits bars to 50-percent capacity indoors. A dozen Texas bars and restaurants, including establishments in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, El Paso and McAllen, have had their permits suspended.
