Metro Health officials are reporting 6,882 cases of coronavirus in Bexar County. The total includes 538 new cases that were reported on Sunday. Officials also reported one new death, so the county's death toll is now 97. So far, almost 2,800 patients, or more than 40%, have recovered.
Officials reported that 406 infected patients are currently being treated at a hospital, 133 patients are in the intensive care unit and 64 are using a ventilator. 28% of staffed hospital beds and 76% of ventilators are still available.
