San Antonio Nursing Home Sued Over Coronavirus Death

Two people are suing a San Antonio nursing home for what they claim was the coronavirus-related death of their 79-year-old father. Jose Velasquez died in April at Southeast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he was a patient. At least 75 of the home's residents have tested positive for the virus, along with 29 employees, including 18 who died. Some city officials refer to the home as San Antonio's "ground zero" for the disease. Annie Marie Gibbs and Joe Edward Velasquez are suing the home for negligence in their father's death.
