Eviction proceedings are again underway in Bexar County. Eviction cases had been kept from proceeding through the courts ever since March in order to help laid-off workers stay in their homes during the coronavirus pandemic. Hearings for evictions began again on Monday in the Justice of the Peace courts in Precinct 2. The county's other three precincts are expected to start hearing eviction cases again in the week ahead.
