A pair of cousins are dead after getting shot by a man who told investigators he thought he was being chased by aliens. Friends and family attended a memorial in Luling yesterday for Klayton Manning and Landin Robinson. The 18 and 16-year olds respectively died last week when Bryan Haynes shot them near Tenney Creek Road. Manning who just graduated from Luling High School aspired to be a firefighter. Southeast Caldwell County Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jack Musick says Manning was a good firefighter and that the department had plans to send him the Texas A&M fire academy. Robinson was originally from San Marcos but lived in Ohio and was visiting his cousin and family. Haynes was arrested Thursday.
