UT Austin, A&M Both To Require Masks On Campus This Fall

Face masks will be required for everybody this fall at both the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University. All students, faculty and staff will be required to wear masks in campus buildings in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. UT leaders announced the policy on Monday, and A&M followed suit on Tuesday. The masks will be required indoors in all non-private offices and residential areas, and outdoors where social distancing is difficult.
