Mayor Ron Nirenberg took part in a Black Lives Matter protest downtown, later telling the group, "We hear you. We know there needs to be a change."
"Hold me accountable because I'm the mayor of this goddamn city and we're going to make change together," said Nirenberg.
Nirenberg said, "I'm here to tell you I don't want any more committees. I don't want any more conversations. I would love to say I don't want anymore yelling, but I know we're not done with that because there's a lot of frustration out there."
