A fund created to help the state's restaurants make it through the pandemic will now be available to those damaged by riots. The Texas Restaurant Relief Fund was created in late March, as pandemic-related closures started affecting businesses. The Texas Restaurant Association says the fund will now support restaurants and bars that have been damaged or looted during the riots in response to George Floyd's death. Since its creation, the fund has raised and distributed more than two-million-dollars to 400-plus Texas restaurants.
