Metro Health now reports a total of 2,636 coronavirus cases in Bexar County, after an increase of 53 on Friday. There was also one new death reported, bringing the death toll since the pandemic began to 72.
Of the new cases, 32 cases are in the community, two are from congregate settings and 19 cases are pending investigation.
The new death reported is a woman in her 90s who passed away at Baptist Health System.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg reported 91 people are hospitalized.
