Hail Damage, Power Outages After Storms Hit San Antonio

Large hail was reported across the San Antonio area last night as powerful storms blew through the area.

There were numerous reports of cars being damaged by the hail.

CPS Energy reported more than 25,000 customers without power at the height of the storm. As of 7 a.m. today all but 1,600 customers had power restored.

Tornado warnings were issued earlier in the storms as they passed over the Fredericksburg and Kerrville areas, although no major damage was reported.

Some roads were also closed due to flooding, but most had been reopened by 7 a.m. today. Check out the latest road closure list.
