Over $3 million is headed to Texas nursing facilities to help connect residents with their families. Governor Greg Abbott announced the funding today saying it will allow residents to still spend time with family members even during the COVID-19 pandemic. The cash will be used to buy headphones, tablets, and webcams. More information on how nursing facilities can get the cash is at hhs.texas.gov.
