Federal Judge Rules All Texan Voters Can Vote By Mail During Pandemic

A federal judge ruled yesterday that all Texas voters qualify for a mail-in ballot during the COVID-19 pandemic. U.S. District Judge Fred Biery said voters would "face irreparable harm" if vote by mail wasn't expanded while the coronavirus remains in circulation. The ruling comes after the Texas Supreme Court decided last week to temporarily put mail-in ballot expansion on hold. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton plans to appeal.
