A Houston city council member is announcing that she has tested positive for the coronavirus. Letitia Plummer notified Mayor Sylvester Turner in an open letter she posted on social media on Monday. Plummer posted on Facebook that she's following the doctor's orders and getting some rest, so she won't be responding to calls or texts for now. She said she won't attend any City Council meetings until she tests negative for the virus.
