City Council To Consider Adding 60 Days To Eviction Processes

San Antonio City Council is considering whether it should add another 60-days to the eviction process to help people during the pandemic. City Councilman Roberto Trevino asked city staff to investigate the idea of requiring landlords to file a notice of proposed eviction 60-days before issuing a notice to vacate. Council will discuss and vote on the proposal on May 14th. San Antonio landlords are concerned about the impact of 60 more days without rent income.
