Police say a woman isn't expected to face charges for shooting her ex-boyfriend after he broke into her home on Wednesday night. Investigators say the woman was in her bathroom when she heard the break-in, and she got her shotgun. A few minutes later, she shot her ex, who was taken to University Hospital with life-threatening wounds. Police say she had changed the locks to her home in a neighborhood near West Military and North Ellison, and that the man had harassed her all day. Nobody else was in the home at the time.
