Ratcliffe Takes Part In Confirmation Hearing For Intelligence Chief

Congressman John Ratcliffe is vowing to put country before party in his new potential position. A confirmation hearing was held for the Texas Republican on Tuesday. He was selected by President Trump to be the next director of national intelligence. Ratcliffe told lawmakers his loyalty will be "to the Constitution and the rule of law." He added he "won't let party allegiance play a factor" in his work because "the mission is too important."
