A 16-year-old girl is dead after being shot at an apartment in the 4400 block of Fredericksburg Road in Balcones Heights.
Police later identified the victim as Miranda Martinez.
Officers had been called to the apartment complex on reports of a burglary with shots being fired when they found the victim.
Two men were later taken into custody for questioning.
