Governor Greg Abbott says he's confident the federal government will do something to help the oil and gas sector. Abbott says it's important to keep the oil and gas industry going now that the nation is energy independent. He says President Donald Trump is trying to negotiate a deal between Saudi Arabia and Russia, who are arguing over production cuts lately. Abbott says the U.S. may also buy more oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
