U.S. Senator John Cornyn says concerns about national debt and the deficit have to take a back seat to dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. The Texas Republican told Fox News on Tuesday that the time to focus on the deficit will be after the pandemic has been dealt with. Congress passed an economic stimulus bill last month providing more than two-trillion-dollars for small businesses and direct payments to eligible Americans.
