City Parks Reopen, Two CPS Lakes Still Closed

San Antonio parks are reopened, but two lakes affiliated with CPS Energy are still closed. A CPS spokesman says Lake Calaveras and Lake Braunig were closed before Easter weekend to align with the city's park closure. The city parks reopened Monday, but CPS says the lakes are still closed in order to support state and local orders to limit social gatherings during the pandemic. CPS has power plants on both lakes, where fishermen won't be allowed to wet a hook till further notice.
