Texas' disaster declaration has been extended. Governor Greg Abbott extended the disaster declaration that was originally issued on March 13th. He says it will allow the state to have the resources to "support communities" and "protect public health." He is encouraging Texas residences to keep practicing social distancing. Abbott is expected to address the state in a briefing tomorrow.
