A whiskey distillery in Austin is now making hand sanitizer for those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Austin Whiskey Co. began giving out free samples of their hand sanitizer yesterday, but were encouraging those who received the samples to give a donation of four-dollars. All the profits from the event are going toward making more hand sanitizer. Austin Whiskey Co. is in a partnership with the city of Austin and will make hand sanitizer for its first responders. Over the next couple of months, the distillery is hoping to make more than 100-thousand gallons worth of product.
