Forecasted Texas Peak Of Coronavirus Outbreak Earlier Than Expected

The new projected peak of the coronavirus outbreak in Texas is less than two weeks away, sooner than expected. Data from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington School of Medicine say the pandemic will peak on April 19th. The peak was originally forecast for May 2nd. Dr. Peter Hotez, a faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine who was on the IHME council, says it's a good idea to continue social distancing until the end of this month and see what happens next.
