City Provides Hotel Space To House Coronavirus Patients, Homeless

The city of San Antonio will provide hotel space for people who test positive for the coronavirus. Mayor Ron Nirenberg announced the plan on Tuesday, though the process of how an infected person would apply for a room hasn't yet been made clear. The mayor says the city may put up homeless people in hotels as well. Nirenberg says the idea is to prevent outbreaks in homeless shelters that may not have room enough to allow for social distancing.
