San Antonio police are investigating a triple-shooting at a house in the 9600 block of Five Forks. Police say when they arrived, they found two women and a child shot. The victims were said to be the shooter's 49-year-old mother, 14-year-old sister and a one-month old baby who is the daughter of the shooter. All three were rushed to University Hospital. The mother and sister suffered non-life threatening injuries. The baby underwent surgery overnight.
Police say there were nine people in the house at the time of the shooting. The suspect fled the scene on foot, but was later apprehended.
Police Chief William McManus says there appear to be some mental health issues associated with the shooter.
