San Antonio city officials say all city parks will be closed to the public on Easter weekend. City Attorney Andy Segovia stated during the city council meeting on Thursday that the city will make the official announcement soon. San Antonio has a long tradition of camping on Easter weekend, when the city lifts the overnight curfew at parks for three nights. Mayor Ron Nirenberg announced last week the curfew won't be lifted this year. The city now plans to close the parks altogether to keep people from gathering there anyway.
