Northeast ISD officials are reporting that a Johnson High School employee has tested positive for coronavirus. Principal Gary Comalander made the announcement to faculty and staff on Wednesday. Comalander says the employee visited the school twice before testing positive, but didn't come into contact with the students. He says health officials assert that the risk of exposure is very low, but areas of potential concern have been disinfected. An investigation is underway to find out if any other employees were exposed.
