Governor Greg Abbott says 11 Texans have died of the coronavirus. Speaking on Tuesday from a Department of Public Safety warehouse loaded with personal protection equipment for health care workers, Abbott said 715 people have tested positive for the virus across Texas. He said a Johns Hopkins University total of 810 may include unconfirmed cases and cruise ship evacuees quarantined at a San Antonio air base. The governor pointed out that more people are testing positive because testing is becoming more widely available.
