Local small businesses that have suffered because of the coronavirus outbreak have county money on the way. On Tuesday, Bexar County Commissioners approved more than five-million-dollars in loans and grants to help at least 250 businesses. Five-million will go for loans of up to 25-thousand-dollars with zero-interest and deferred payments. Another 250-thousand-dollars will be distributed in grants of up to five-thousand each. The county will pay a nonprofit 400-thousand-dollars to run the program for four-years.
