The first coronavirus cases are being reported in the Rio Grande Valley. Hidalgo County health officials on Sunday said a 20-year-old woman who traveled recently to Las Vegas came back and had symptoms so she got the test for coronavirus which has come back positive. She is in isolation at home. She is the first confirmed case in Hidalgo County. On Saturday in Cameron County, health officials there said three of four new cases confirmed there are also travel related. That brings the total as of yesterday in Cameron County to six confirmed coronavirus cases.
